four miles

Posted by oddlyoptimistic under: Uncategorized.

I ran four miles. I am convinced that it is the beginning that is the most horrible. After that it’s just running round and round. I think now that I am convinced I am not a loser, I can run with the Club this Sunday. I am also convinced that I need to run in the morning so that I am not running on the track anymore. Because running round and round 16 times is sort of harsh. It just gets sort of tiresome. Since the area around my school isn’t that great, I’m going to have to think about how I’m going to do the running in the morning.

I have been suffering from a pretty miserable cold though. And, it was pretty miserable to go running while I kept wanting to blow my nose. But I did it. Tissue in hand and all.

Anyway, while running: like I said it was much harder in the beginning. However, when I did start the four mile, my right ankle hurt a lot. That was really random. I think I’m going to head over and buy a new pair of running shoes with more support around the ankles. Slightly problematic since I have orthodics and I’ve been told to stick to New Balance in the past. The pair I have now are New Balance, but theyre a little too roomy. I can feel my foot moving around too much while I run. I need something that holds it better in place.
