twelve miles!!!

Posted by oddlyoptimistic under: Uncategorized.

Twelve miles and I didn’t walk or get lost!

I cannot believe it. I did it. It was hard. Again, what was hard was like mile 2,3. It was pretty funny, because at the end of the six miles when I turned around, I found all these little pockets of energy left.

So, I used those that helped me propel myself.

I listened to an LSAT podcast. Lesson 2. ahaha. That was pretty funny. I was learning about logical reasoning questions while I was running. Then, I came across a question I just could not fathom without running and got irritated so went back to the music.

I feel really good about running 12 miles. I realized something important. Not everyone can do all the things I am doing. So, it is hard. It is supposed to be hard. It isn’t going to be easy. Because if it easy, everyone could do it. The fact that I can do it means something. And, just because I did twelve miles doesn’t mean that the next seven mile run will be easy. It is never easy. I hope one day it will be eas-ier. But, never easy. Besides if it was easy, I would never be aware of what my body could achieve. If you don’t push yourself, how can you know what you can really be aware of?

I love how much weight I’ve lost. I can feel the muscles developing my legs and that is pretty awesome. Plus, my abs are getting stronger.

I am going to go buy myself something really nice at the After Thanksgiving Day Friday sales.

Great! You are right about what you can do and go for it when you can, knowing that your energy level may change the next day.
